The Concordia Lodge of Freemasons was created 1882 at the then Grand Lodge on Flinders Street. It was consecrated as a German language Lodge, it operated from 27 January 1882 to late 1901.[1] It's warrant was surrendered due to "the lack of interest shown by the majority of the members".[2]

The relationship between the Lutheran Church and Freemasonry during this period was strained, with e majority of members of the Lodge being associated with the Deutsche Verein.
