Dr. Sprod was immediately summoned, but arrived only in time to witness deceased's death, which occurred within three minutes after his brother saw him. Mr. Noltenius, who was 63 years of age, came to the colony in 1843. He was for some time a partner in the firm of Messrs, Stilling and Co., merchants, and was for many year's a wine and spirit merchant.
